Analysis of the Factors Affecting the Development Strategy of Cultural and Creative Cities

In the 21st century, cities have become an important node for national development. International interaction also emphasizes the importance of cities. In the future, it must be emphasized that how to make cities more competitive, so that the city can take the first chance of development in a more diversified and complex global market. First, culture is one of the main forces controlling the city. It is reflected in the image and memory of the city, the symbol of specific space, and has become an important source of commercial economy for urban development as the architectural theme, including tourism attraction, characteristics and competitiveness. The growing cultural consumption and industry have strengthened the city’s economic capacity and development momentum. This study is based the samples from Zhejiang Province and the residents in Zhejiang Province are used as the questionnaire objects. 600 research samples were distributed for this questionnaire in the study and 423 valid questionnaires were returned, with a recovery rate of 71%. The results of the study: 1. in the facet, the most important facet is “cultural art”, followed by “regeneration and economy” and “cultural assets”. 2. among the 13 evaluation indicators, the top five important indicators in order: shaping cultural characteristics, combining cultural development, art-related policies, preservation and maintenance, and creative human capital. Finally, based on the results of the study, we hope to help China’s development, emphasizing localization, creative and unique cultural resources, and then develop the cultural development pattern internalized from the city to maintain local sustainable development.
